A movie featuring actor Biraj Bhatt and actress Rekha Thapa, ‘Damini’ is releasing in Nepal in the biggest festival, Navratri. The movie is releasing with another Rekha Thapa’s film ‘Kali’.
Viraj Bhatt got married before he got a break in movies. His wife, Saraswati Bhatt, and two sons live in a house in Bhaktapur for the last three years. His elder son is in grade 10 and the younger son is in grade 6. Following photo shows Saraswati Bhatt, Biraj Bhatt and one of their sons.
After gaining an image of action hero in Nepali movie industry Biraj started working in Bhojpuri movie as Viraj Bhatt. He is currently one of the most liked action star in Bhojpuri movie industry. Produced by Vinod Gupta, the movie also stars Rani Chatterjee and Krisha Khandelwal opposite to Ravi Kissen and Viraj Bhatt respectively. Among the other actor Surendra Pal, Kunika Lal, Brijesh Tripathi, Manoj Singh Tiger, Ratnesh Varvmaal, Surya, Vandidni Mishra and Awadhesh Mishra are notable.
Bhojpuri actor Khesari Lal Yadav is featured with Viraj Bhatt for the first time in ‘Jaan Tere Naam’. The movie is being made by the producer-director Ramakanta Prasad. Made by Adi Shakti Entertainment and Sita Arts under the banner of Kumari Mai Movies, the movie feature the fight between Khesari Lal and Viraj.
In the movie Tanushree Chatarji is featured opposite to Khesari and Priya Sharma is featured opposite to Viraj. Other actors include Niraj Podel, Manish Chaturbedi, Dev Singh, Dhama and Brajesh Tripathi. The movie is made on the story of Manoj K Kushawaha.
Bhojpuri actor Viraj Bhatt is playing opposite to Monalisa in the movie ‘Khuddar’, released on July 27, 2012.

In the movie made on the story of it’s director Rabi Shina, Viraj will be featured in action and romantic role. Actor Biraj Bhatt who is currently in Nepal for the promotion of his movie and a relief from busy schedules in Bhojpuri movies, told in conversion with a journalist that he wants to make a movie as a gift to his fans.
He was talking to journalist Dinesh Sitaula who had asked Biraj to tell his future wishes. By the way the question was asked and answered, it is clear that Biraj had only conveyed his wish, not a definite plan. It would be a good thing if he can produce a movie.
Biraj Bhatt has been very busy in Bhojpuri movies that he find little time to go back to his home land, Nepal. Nepali movies have a smaller market and can’t pay as much as Bhojpuri movies. So, he has been much busier in Bhojpuri movies these days.
In a program organized in Kathmandu, Biraj told that he has come back in the promotion of his upcoming movie "Mrigtrishna". Mrigtrishna is written and directed by acclaimed Nepali movie director Tulsi Ghimire. The movie made by Sai Gayatri Films is expected to be liked by movie goers.
Last year, almost all of his Nepali movies were unsuccessful. May be that was the reason he has decided to devote some time in the promotion of his upcoming movie. Let’s wish Biraj all the best for his Nepali movie.
A movie made under the banner of Prasiddhi Cine Makers and directed by Deepak Shrestha, Majboor, is released in Nepal on February 17, 2012.
The action movie is based on a story of a young guy who is forced to became a gangster by the situation he became victim of. The movie features Biraj Bhatt and actress Anuska Dhakal. It was the debut movie of Anuska, who has already announced her retirement from Nepali movie industry.
Majboor is told to be 27th movie of the director Deepak Shrestha. Made in Rs. 45 lakh, the movie is produced by Dik Khadka and is shot in Kathamndu.
